Laura Linney

Laura Linney was born in New York in New York on the 5th of February, 1964. Linney is an American actress who is known for her talent in portraying powerful characters that are at risk. Linney was raised in a family of actors her father was a playwright, Romulus Linney. She graduated in 1986 from Brown University in 1986 and then went on to study at the Arts Theatre School in Moscow and then graduated at the Juilliard School (M.F.A.) New York City, 1990. Her first appearance was in the city on Broadway receiving awards for her roles, including Six Degrees of Separation or Hedda Galer.
